Mr. and Mrs. Larry (Gwendolyn) Jones of Statesboro, Ga., and Mr. and Mrs. Walter (Brenda) Ray of St. Pauls, N.C., joyfully announce the engagement of their children, Gwennetta M. Jones and Ron D. Ray.
    The future bride is a current student-athlete at Kennesaw State University, where she is pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication and Public Relations.
    The future groom attended Gardner-Webb University, where he pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Technology and Information Systems. He is also a retail salesman for Belk Corporation.
    The big day for Ron and Gwen is scheduled to occur on December 15th, 2012, at 2 p.m. at the Whitesville Full Gospel Worship Center in Statesboro, Ga., with the parents of the bride, Bishop Larry Jones and Pastor Gwendolyn Jones, officiating.
