William and Cathy Hinesley of Dothan, Alabama, and Donald and Susan Baldwin of Greenville, South Carolina, are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Amanda Hinesley, to Clay Price, son of David and Helen Price and Perry and Lacey Bishop of Swainsboro, Ga.
    The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late John and Sara Everett of Waycross, Ga., and Julian and Geraldine Hinesley of Warrenton, Ga. Amanda is a 2001 honor graduate of Ware County Magnet School in Waycross, Ga., and a 2006 graduate of Valdosta State University, with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing. She is employed as a public relations manager with Fort Stewart in Hinesville, Ga.
    The groom-elect is the grandson of the late Clayton Downer, the late Jean Strange, Myra Downer and L.C. "Shot" Strange, all of Emanuel County, Ga. Clay is a 2002 honor graduate of Swainsboro High School in Swainsboro, Ga., and a 2006 graduate of Valdosta State University, with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing. He is employed as a commercial loan officer with Farmers and Merchants Bank in Statesboro, Ga.
    A private ceremony will be held in Hiawassee, Ga., on Saturday, October 22, 2011, at 5:30 p.m.
