Mr. and Mrs. Terry Lamar Hickman announce the engagement of their daughter, Ansley Lane Hickman, to Tyler Newton Thompson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ken Brown and Mr. and Mrs. Bobby D. Thompson. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Ann Bryant Cowart and the late Mr. Jimmie Lane Cowart and the late Mr. and Mrs. Lamar Robert Hickman. Ansley is a 2014 graduate of the University of Georgia and is currently employed as client associate at Merrill Lynch in Statesboro.
