Mr. and Mrs. Mike Herndon of Statesboro are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Sarah Herndon of Pooler, to Christopher Beasley, son of Mr. Mark Beasley Sr. of Ellabell and the late Mrs. Susan Beasley.
    The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Ahmetta Harville and the late Mr. Terrell J. Harville Sr. of Statesboro and Mrs. Kay Herndon and the late Mr. James H. Herndon Sr. of Statesboro. She is a 2008 graduate of Southeast Bulloch High School. She earned a Bachelor of Science in kinesiology at Georgia Southern University in 2012. She is currently working at Memorial University Medical Center in Savannah as an exercise physiologist.
    The groom-elect is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Patty Fahey Beasley Sr. of Savannah and the late Mr. and Mrs. Wade Mattair of Metter and Mrs. Lenora McMillan of Perry, Florida. He is a 2009 graduate of Southeast Bulloch High School and is working towards his Bachelor of Business Administration in management. He is currently working for Enterprise at the Savannah International Airport in Pooler, Georgia.
    The couple plans to wed on May 16, 2015, in Brunswick, Georgia.
