Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Hensley of Brooklet, Ga., announce the engagement of their daughter, Brooke Nicole Hensley of Brooklet, to Jesse Hunter Bates, son of Mr. Rusty Bates of Baxley, Ga., and Ms. Sheila Cason of Claxton, Ga.
    The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Carolyn Roberson and the late Robert Roberson of Brooklet and the late Bill and Ruby Hensley of Savannah, Ga. She is employed at East Georgia Regional Medical Center.
    The groom-elect is the grandson of the late Jolly Cason of Glennville, Ga., and the late Mary Thompson of Savannah. He is employed at Coca-Cola.
    The couple is planning to wed on September 27, 2014, at 3 p.m. at the Trinity Baptist Church in Nevils, Ga.
