Wade Hendrix of Dahlonega, Georgia, and Terry Rushing of Statesboro announce the engagement of their daughter, Alison Keli Hendrix of Statesboro, to Ryan Adam Waters of Statesboro, son of Mr. and Mrs. Adam Waters of Statesboro.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Dan Rushing and the late Dorothy Rushing and Eva Jean and William Hendrix.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Sue Smith and the late Tom "Doc" Smith and Shirley Waters and the late Hal C. Waters.

The couple is planning to wed on April 7, 2018, at 6 p.m. in Statesboro.
