Mr. and Mrs. Dane Hamilton of Riverview, Florida, are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Rebecca Lynn Hamilton, to Jarrod Thomas Creasy, son of Mr. and Mrs. Noel Creasy of Statesboro.
    Rebecca is the granddaughter of Pat and Billie Hamilton of Bushnell, Florida, and the late John and Sophia Simco, formerly of Port Charlotte, Florida. She graduated from the University of Florida with a bachelor’s degree in agricultural economics. She received a master's in agricultural education from North Carolina State University and a Master's of Business Administration from Valdosta State University. Rebecca is currently employed as a sales manager for Monsanto Company-Seminis Vegetable Seed Division.
    Jarrod is the grandson of Marion Creasy of Statesboro and the late J.T. Creasy Jr. of Statesboro and the late W.L. and Doretha Todd of Savannah. He is a 2008 graduate of Southeast Bulloch High School and pursued a Bachelor of Science in diversified agriculture from Abraham Baldwin College. He is currently employed with L.G. Herndon Farms in Lyons, Georgia, as their herdsman.
    The wedding will be held in Aiken, South Carolina, on September 20, 2014, at 2 p.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
    The couple will reside in Lyons.
