Mr. and Mrs. Clark and Lynn Groover of Stilson are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Olivia Groover of Decatur, to Karl Falconer, son of Ms. Beverly Nichols of Norwalk, Connecticut, and Mr. Karl Falconer of Jacksonville, Florida.
    The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Olive Ann Groover and the late Mr. Francis Groover of Stilson and of the late Mrs. Betty Phillips Cash and Mr. Earl Phillips of Gainesville, Georgia. She is a 2002 graduate of Southeast Bulloch High School. She earned a Bachelor of Science in biochemistry at McGill University in Montreal, Canada, in 2006 and a doctor of medicine degree from Emory University in 2011. She is currently completing a residency in neurology at Emory University.
    The groom-elect is the grandson of Ms. Norma Nichols and Ms. Alsie Falconer of Palm Coast, Florida. He graduated from Norwalk High School in 2003 and earned a Bachelor of Science in computer science at Virginia Tech in 2007. He is currently self-employed as a software developer in Decatur, Georgia.
    The couple plans to wed on April 18, 2015, at 4 p.m. in Pawleys Island, South Carolina.
