Linda and Jack D. Stanley and W. Craig Eddins of Perry, Georgia, announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Cathryn Elizabeth Eddins, to Guy W. Bland.
    Cathryn is employed as a natural resource technician with the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources. She is the granddaughter of the late Dorothy and the late Willmur B. Eddins of Dublin and the late Mary Elizabeth Neal of Perry and the late William Glendall Neal Jr. of Rome.
    Guy W. is the son of Guy D. and Lynn Bland of Jacksonville, Georgia. He is employed by Groton Land Company of Luray, South Carolina. He is the grandson of the late Guy R. and the late Martha Boney Bland of Jacksonville and the late Doy I. Jones and Melrose S. Jones of Portal.
    The wedding will be held at Southern Bridle Farms in Fort Valley, Georgia, on September 20, 2014.
    The couple will make their home in Garnett, South Carolina.
