Mr. and Mrs. Lee and Hollie Eckles of Statesboro announce the engagement of their daughter, Mary Elizabeth, to William Warrren Ball Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Warren and Roxella Ball of Statesboro.
    The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Allen and the late Mr. and Mrs. Edwin C. Eckles, all of Statesboro. She is a 2009 graduate of Bulloch Academy. She earned a Bachelor of Science in health education from Georgia College and State University in 2014. While there, she was a member of the Zeta Iota chapter of Alpha Delta Pi. She is currently employed with Magnolia Women’s Healthcare.
    The groom-elect is the grandson of Mrs. Jean Hendrix and the late Mr. George Lamar Hendrix of Statesboro and Mrs. Catherine Warren Dukehart and the late Mr. Lamar Q. Ball, both of Atlanta. He is a 2006 graduate of Bulloch Academy. He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in business management from Georgia Southern University in 2011. He is employed with W.W. Ball Farms and owner/operator of Tracks and Trails, LLC.
    The couple has planned to wed on May 16, 2015, at Quinney Oaks Plantation.
    The couple will reside in Statesboro.
