Kim Gray Durfee of Statesboro, and William Durfee of Simpsonville, South Carolina, announce the engagement of their daughter, Melanie Janet Durfee of Statesboro, to Jaylen Holloway, the son of Shenavian Holloway of Register. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Benjamin Blanton Gray and the late Jane Cleveland Gray of Statesboro and Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Durfee of Dover, Tennessee. Melanie is a graduate of Georgia Southern University with a bachelor's degree in early childhood education.
