Michelle Marie Durden and Charles Brandon McGahee

    Mr. and Mrs. Steve Durden of Statesboro, Ga., are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Michelle Marie Durden, to Charles Brandon McGahee, son of Mr. and Mrs. David Hendrix and Mr. Gregory P. McGahee Sr., all of Statesboro.
    The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Tommy Durden (Rosi) of Twin City, Ga., Marge Hendrix (Jack) of Statesboro and the late Fred and Rosa Gonzales of Portales, N.M. Michelle is a Statesboro High School graduate and attended Ogeechee Technical College, graduating with a degree in business administration. She is employed by the Bulloch County Recreation Mill Creek Parks Division as an administrative assistant.
    The groom-elect is the grandson of Shelba L. Olliff and the late Johnny R. Olliff and the late Henry and Ida McGahee, all of Statesboro. Brandon is a Portal High School graduate and attended Georgia Southern University for criminal justice. He is employed by Metter Police Department as a law enforcement officer.
    The couple plans to wed on April 26, 2014, at 5 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Statesboro.
