Mr. and Mrs. Ken DeLay of Millen, Georgia, are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Dr. Ashley Elizabeth DeLay, to Dr. Thomas Paul King, son of Mr. and Mrs. Randy King of Screven, Georgia.
    The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Retha C. Moxley and the late Homer L. Moxley of Twin City, Ga. Paternal grandparents are William Jackson "B.J." DeLay and the late Jean DeLay of Statham, Ga. Ashley is a 2005 honor graduate of Jenkins County High School. She attended Georgia Southern University and obtained her doctorate degree in Pharmacy from South University in Savannah, Ga. She is employed by Publix Pharmacy on Wilmington Island.
    The groom-elect is the grandson of Irma Tyre and the late Carroll Tyre of Screven, Ga. Paternal grandparents are Carolyn S. Taylor and the late Tommy King of Waycross, Ga. Paul is a 2005 honor graduate of Crisp County High School. He attended Georgia Southern University and obtained his doctorate degree in Pharmacy from South University in 2011. He is employed by CVS Pharmacy in Savannah, Ga.
    The couple will exchange vows on October 20, 2012, at the Westin in Savannah.
