Meredith Kay Clark and William Blake Bloser

    Mr. and Mrs. Dennis G. Clark of Statesboro announce the engagement of their daughter, Meredith Kay Clark, to William Blake Bloser, son of Mr. and Mrs. William L. Bloser of Warner Robins.
    The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles L. Mallard and Mrs. Roy P. Clark Sr. and the late Mr. Roy P. Clark Sr., all of Statesboro. Meredith is a 2008 graduate of Bulloch Academy and a 2012 graduate of Georgia Southern University, where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing. She is currently employed as a registered nurse at Houston Medical Center in Warner Robins.
    The groom-elect is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Clyde W. Davis of Glennville and Mr. and Mrs. Barrie L. Bloser of Portal. Blake is a 2007 graduate of Houston County High School in Warner Robins and a 2011 graduate of Georgia Southern University, where he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in accounting. He then returned to GSU to achieve his master of accounting degree in 2012. After graduation, he worked with Clifton, Lipford, Hardison, and Parker, LLC, in Warner Robins. He is now employed as a certified public accountant with Thigpen, Lanier, Westerfield and Deal in Statesboro.
    Blake and Meredith met in the spring of 2008 and became formally engaged November 23, 2013.
    The wedding ceremony is planned for October 25, 2014, at 4:30 in the afternoon at Tryphena’s Garden in Fort Valley, Georgia, with the reception to follow.
    The couple will reside in Statesboro.
