Amanda Christine Bugg Dustin Edward Reddick

    Mr. and Mrs. Perry Lance Bugg of Athens are proud to announce the engagement of their daughter, Amanda Christine Bugg, to Dustin Edward Reddick, son of Mr. and Mrs. Elton Edward Reddick Jr. of Sylvania.
    The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel M. Whitmore and Mr. George C. Bugg Sr. and the late Mrs. George Bugg of Athens and Mr. and Mrs. Thomas L. Ramsey of Crozet, Virginia. She is also the great-granddaughter of Mrs. Marvin E. Linton and the late Mr. Marvin E. Linton of Athens. She was a 2002 honor graduate of Cedar Shoals High School in Athens and a 2008 magna cum laude graduate of the University of Georgia, with a doctorate of Pharmacy. She is presently employed as a pharmacist for Kroger Pharmacy in Augusta.
    The groom-elect is the grandson of Dr. and Mrs. Gerald A. French and Mrs. Elton E. Reddick and the late Mr. Elton E. Reddick of Sylvania. He is a 2004 honor graduate of Screven County High School and a 2008 cum laude graduate of Georgia Southern University, with a B.S. in Civil Engineering Technology and a minor in Business. He is presently employed as a construction field engineer for Shaw Power Group Nuclear Services at Plant Vogtle Units 3 and 4 in Waynesboro.
    The wedding is planned for April 9, 2011, at the First Baptist Church in Athens with the reception following at the Classic Center Athena Ballroom.
