Grandparents of the bride elect are Mrs. Melrose S. Jones and the late Doy Jones of Portal and the late Guy R. and Martha Bland of Jacksonville, Georgia. The bride-elect is a 2006 graduate of Telfair County High School and a graduate of the University of Georgia, with degrees in animal science and a master of agricultural leadership in 2010 and 2012, respectively.
