Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Ricks Parrish Jr. of Savannah announce the engagement of their daughter, Kristen Alicia Parrish of Brooklet, to Michael Anthony Berry of Brooklet, son of Mrs. Kimberly Smith of Brooklet and Mr. Anthony Berry of Sylvania.
    The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Dorothy Sheahan and Mrs. Joann Parrish.
    The groom-elect is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Eugene McElveen and Mr. and Mrs. Glen Walden. He graduated in May 2006 from Ogeechee Technical College.
    The wedding is planned for mid-September in Savannah.
