Mr. & Mrs. Darien Keith Sapp
    Olivia Nicole Hattrich became the bride of Darien Keith Sapp during a 2 p.m. ceremony held on October 21, 2006, at 2 p.m. at the Gospel Baptist Church in Claxton. Pastor Mike Gay officiated.
    The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert U. Hattrich of Newington and is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. J.I. Dubose of Dade City, Fla., the late Mr. and Mrs. William D. Hattrich Sr. of Newington and Red and Bobbie Anderson of Savannah.
    The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Homer L. Sapp of Daisy and is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. James W. Sapp of Claxton and the late Mr. and Mrs. Frank Beasley of Claxton.
    Given by marriage by her father, the bride chose Ginny Sowell of Sylvania as her maid of honor. Bridesmaid was Melissa McDaniel of Statesboro.
    Harold Rogers of Claxton was the groom’s best man. Groomsman was Patrick Sapp of Daisy, brother of the groom. Ushers were Ed Sapp of Claxton, cousin of the groom; Logan Gutierrez of Claxton, nephew of the groom; and Michael McDaniel of Statesboro. Ring bearer was Eric Hutson of Sylvania, cousin of the bride.
    Gracie Sommer of Newington served as guestbook attendant.
    Music was provided by Ann Merie Sommer of Newington.
    Following the ceremony, the reception was held in the social hall of the church. Karen Dukes of Statesboro served the cake.
    The couple honeymooned in Pigeon Forge, Tenn., and now resides in Claxton.
