Samantha LaRue Grovenstein Ryan William Lee
    Mr. and Mrs. David P. (Martha) Grovenstein of Brooklet announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Samantha LaRue, to Ryan William Lee, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ed T. (Debra) Mikell and Mr. and Mrs. William F. (Faye) Lee, all of Statesboro.
    The wedding will be October 6, 2007, in Guyton, Ga.
    The bride to be is the granddaughter of  Florence M. Davis and the late Bennie F. Davis of Bloomingdale and the late Mr. and Mrs. P.L. (Louise Z.) Grovenstein of Marlow. Samantha is a 2000 honor graduate of Southeast Bulloch High School. She is a 2005 magna cum laude graduate of Georgia Southern University with bachelor’s of business administration degrees in accounting and information systems. She is presently employed with CCH Tax and Accounting as a software consultant and trainer.
    The future groom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Willie Frank (Ocelia) Lee and Eulas S. Brown and the late Annie Bell Key Brown and J.W. Key, all of Statesboro. Ryan graduated from Statesboro High in 1999. He is a graduate of the class of 2005 from Georgia Southern University with a bachelor’s of business administration degree in operations management. He is a project manager and estimator with Network Systems, Inc. and TComm Design, Inc. of Statesboro.
    A reception will be held at 5 p.m.  Oct. 6, 2007, at Woodlawn Plantation in Guyton.
    Friends and relatives are cordially invited to attend.
