SEAMUS strikes a balance

Georgia Southern University and the Averitt Center for the Arts hosted performances by members of the Society of Electro-Acoustic Music in the United States, or SEAMUS, Thursday through Sunday during the group's annual national conference this past week. Electro-acoustic music refers to music and media art that is dependent on electronic technology for creation and performance. Members from all over the country met and exchanged ideas and experiences between the performances, which were diverse and pushed the bounds of creativity.
