Heather Grace Jacobs and Hagan Thomas Martinson

Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Jacobs Jr. of Sylvania announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Heather Grace Jacobs, to Hagan Thomas Martinson. He is the son of Dr. Craig and Dr. Maria Martinson of Sylvania.

The bride-elect is the daughter of the late Stephanie Cook Jacobs. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Jacobs Sr. of Sylvania, Mr. and Mrs. Dan Cook of Statesboro and the late Mr. and Mrs. Delmas Johnson of Twin City. Heather is a 2015 honor graduate of Bulloch Academy in Statesboro. She will graduate magna cum laude in May 2019 from Georgia Southern University with a degree in elementary education.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Dr. and Mrs. C. Edward Hagan of Sylvania, Thomas G. Statham of Carrollton, Georgia, the late Jeanne Martinson Statham and the late James E. Martinson. Hagan is a 2013 honor graduate of Screven County High School. He attended Georgia Southern University for two years and transferred to Ogeechee Technical College. He graduated in 2017 from Ogeechee Technical College with a degree in agribusiness. He is the owner of Main Street Cattle Company.

The couple plans to wed on May 18, 2019, at 6:30 p.m. at Mossy Oaks Wedding Venue in Brooklet, with the reception immediately to follow.
