Mr. and Mrs. Alan James Artley

Katy Marie Fedeli and Alan James Artley were united in marriage on May 18, 2018, in Savannah, Georgia.

The outdoor ceremony took place at the Forsyth Fountain with the Rev. Frank Parr, cousin of the groom’s father, officiating. A reception dinner was held in the Stoddard Room at Vic’s on the River.

Katy is the daughter of Danny and Julie Fedeli of Magnolia, Ohio, and the granddaughter of the late James and Betty Crilley of Magnolia, Ohio, and Dante (deceased) and Janet Fedeli of Canton, Ohio. She is a 2011 magna cum laude graduate of Kent State University with a BS in chemistry. Katy is a senior process engineer at Bridgestone Americas and is currently pursuing her professional master’s degree in manufacturing leadership at Georgia Tech.

Alan is the son of Jim Artley Jr. and Linda Early Artley of Sylvania (Cooperville), Georgia, and the grandson of the late James M. and Helen Q. Artley of Savannah, and the late George W. and Hermine Early of Decatur, Georgia. He was attending Georgia Southern University when he was called to serve with the U.S. Army in Operation Iraqi Freedom. After his return, he worked as a construction supervisor for Artley Company before he decided to take a position with Chesapeake Energy in the oilfield services division in Canton, Ohio, where he met Katy. Alan is an asset movement coordinator for Textron Specialized Vehicles. He will complete his Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting later this year and intends to pursue a master’s degree in accounting.

The couple has made their home in Aiken, South Carolina, with their two dachshunds, June and Cash.
