Mr. and Mrs. John Howard Davis Jr. of Statesboro plan to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary from 3 until 5 p.m. on March 8 in the parlor of the Pittman Park United Methodist Church. The couple was married on March 15, 1958, at River Oaks Baptist Church in Houston, Texas. They have three children, John Mark Davis of Jonesboro, Ga., Andrew Howard Davis of Statesboro and Benjamin Robert Davis of Alpharetta, Ga.; and one grandson, Grant Hamilton Davis of Statesboro.
