J. Ralph and Shirley B. Deal will celebrate 60 years of marriage on June 29. The couple married on June 29, 1957, in Statesboro. They have two daughters, Holly (David) Waters of Ellijay, Georgia; and Heidi (Bobby) Coble of Statesboro; and five grandchildren, Jonathan Waters, Laura (Cody) Solomon, Hannah Waters, and Jena and Jada Coble. The couple will be honored with a special family dinner. They also plan to celebrate with a trip to the mountains near Hiawassee in September of this year.
