Statesboro girls beat South Effingham
    Sierra Kirkland scored 16 points to lead Statesboro High School to a 57-54 victory over host South Effingham in a Region 2B-AAAA girls basketball game Tuesday night.
    Alisia Jenkins had 14 points for the Lady Blue Devils and Neisha Drummer chipped in 11 points.

Statesboro High boys beat S. Effingham
    Zaquavian Smith scored 16 points to lead Statesboro High School to a 58-50 victory over host South Effingham in a Region 2B-AAAA boys basketball game Tuesday night.
    Yakeem Coleman added 11 points for the Blue Devils (10-11, 4-2).
