SHS sends pair to Georgia Dugout Club event
Statesboro

For years, Georgia has been a hotbed for up-and-coming high school baseball stars. Among this year's class of potential future stars are a pair of Blue Devils from Statesboro High School.
Jackson Ware was named to the Georgia Dugout Club's Top-100 class of rising juniors and seniors, while Blakely Brown was placed on the newly created class for the Top-40 rising sophomores throughout the state.
Both players will be placed on teams of 20 players and will have a chance to be showcased to professional and top college scouts in games running today through Friday at Marietta High School and Mt. Paran High School in Marietta.
