Pigskin Pickers
Every Wednesday, 5 p.m.
106.5 FM
College, NFL and High School football picks and analysis
Hosted by Bill Price, voice of the Statesboro Blue Devils
Featuring Mike Anthony, Matt Yogus, Josh Aubrey, "Chicago" Steve Anderson and a weekly special guest

With the start of the football season right around the corner, two local media companies are working together to talk up the local teams.
Pigskin Pickers is back on the radio as the Georgia Eagle Media radio group and the Statesboro Herald team up to bring listeners high school, college and pro football sports talk each week during the fall.
Pickers will feature the Herald’s own sports staff of Mike Anthony, Matt Yogus and Josh Aubrey, GEM staff, and will be hosted by GEM’s Bill Price.
Each week, the show will feature analysis from “Chicago” Steve Anderson and will welcome a celebrity guest picker from the community.
Pigskin Pickers will be broadcast live from Manny’s Neighborhood Grille, part of the Quality Inn and Suites on South Main Street. In addition to catching the entertainment in person, Manny’s patrons can try the Wednesday special — a $5 burger and fries, available with loads of additional toppings and add-ons.
Price said Pigskin Pickers is a great way to hear opinions and analysis of all the important games of the week from the local media who cover these teams on a daily basis.
“Come down to Manny’s each Wednesday and be part of the entertainment while getting a bite to eat,” Price said. “We’ll talk about the county and area school match-ups, chat up Georgia Southern, as well as talk about all the big games in the SEC, SoCon, Sun Belt and the NFL. It’s gonna be a great season”
Pigskin Pickers will air at 5 p.m., each Wednesday throughout the fall, starting Aug. 26, and will be broadcast on ROCK 106.5 FM WZBX.
