Georgia Southern University and Jacksonville University, two struggling women's basketball teams seeking an identity, meet at 5 p.m. today at Hanner Fieldhouse with the Lady Eagles looking for their first home win of the season.
Jacksonville is coached by Georgia Southern Hall of Famer Jill Dunn, who was a three-year starter for the Eagles in the 1989-93 seasons. She was inducted into the school’s hall of fame in 2006.
Dunn is still Georgia Southern's record-holder for career 3-point field goal percentage.
GSU is coming off a 72-48 loss at Davidson on Monday night.
Jacksonville is coming off a 70-64 loss against East Carolina on Sunday in Myrtle Beach, S.C.
