The executive committee of the Georgia Southern University Athletic Foundation voted Thursday, Dec. 12, 2013, to modify its donor benefit structure to help ensure a successful transition into the Sun Belt Conference next year. The goal of the restructuring is to more closely-align its benefits with the Athletics Department goal of creating more experienced-based opportunities for fans and raising additional resources to be used for anticipated increased scholarship, recruiting and travel expenses.
