Eagle Golf into match play at Sun Belt Championships

SANDESTIN, Fla. — Junior Steven Fisk fired a 65, and the Georgia Southern men’s golf team combined to shoot 5-under on their final nine holes of stroke play Tuesday to secure a spot in match play at the Sun Belt Championship at Raven Golf Club. The Eagles (+19) tied UTA for second in stroke play but will be the third seed in match play because of the fifth-score tiebreaker. GS faces UTA in the semifinals tomorrow morning with the first pairing off the first hole at 8:55 a.m. ET.Coastal Carolina (-9) finished first in stroke play and will take on fourth-place South Alabama (+22) in the other semifinal match.
