STATESBORO, Ga. -- Shirley Ann Williams George, age 75, passed away Tuesday, February 12, 2019, with her loving family by her side at Landmark Hospital of Savannah after a lengthy illness.
    Shirley graduated from Jenkins County High School and became a beautician.
    She loved watching old Western movies, was passionate about shopping for shoes, knitting and doing arts and crafts.
    Shirley was married to Oscar Daniel Pughsley.
    Shirley was preceded in death by a special nephew, Wesley Bragg.
    Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, Danny and Linda Pughsley of Richmond Hill; many nieces and nephews.
    Visitation will be held Saturday, February 16, 2019, from noon until 2 p.m. at Hodges-Moore Funeral Home.
    The funeral service will be held immediately following at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Hodges-Moore Funeral Home with the Reverend Rhon Carter officiating.
    Pallbearers will be Dylan Bragg, Dwight Thompson, Jeffery McCullough, Connor Akins, Hampton Harbin and Chad Mangrum.
