Mr. Josell Moore Sr, age 85, passed peacefully on Friday, November 26, 2021, at East Georgia Regional Medical Center after an extended illness. He was a Bulloch County native but resided in Ludowici, Ga. He was a former employee of HA Sack Company of Statesboro, Ga., until he became disabled.

He served as a deacon of the Bryant Grove Baptist Church of Waynesboro, Ga., and was a longtime member of the Summer-hill Baptist Church of Statesboro, Ga. He was a man of great faith in God and wisdom.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Fannie Moore of Ludowici, Ga.; children, Charles (Brenda) Moore, Edgar Moore both of Statesboro, Ga., Josell Moore Jr. of Rocky Ford, Ga., Frankie (Anthony) Henry of Grovetown, Ga., Ruby (Shadeed) Khalifa of Beech Island, S.C., and Inez Holmes of Ludowici, Ga.; sister, Dorothy Daughtry of Boston, Mass.; brother, Walter Childers Jr. of Elizabeth, N.J., and a host of grandchildren and other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be held on Monday, November 29, 2021, at 11 a.m. in the Statesboro Chapel of Craig R. Tremble Funeral Homes, Inc., 238 West Main Street, Statesboro, Ga. 30458. Rev Leroy Lott, Eulogist.

Interment will be held at Bryant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, 5293 Ga. Highway 24, Waynesboro, GA 39367.
