Two people injured in a drive-by-style shooting near Metter Tuesday are in stable condition, but Candler County Sheriff John Miles is seeking information about the incident. Around 10:30 Tuesday night, someone drove past a Howard Road location and fired shots, injuring a man and a woman, he said. Neither victim suffered “life-threatening injuries,” but they were both taken to a hospital.
