Bulloch County Sheriff’s investigators are seeking a man they said robbed a Clito area convenience store Sunday.
Around 10 p.m. a black male entered Jay’s Food Mart #2 and showed the clerk a black semi-automatic pistol, according to sheriff’s incident reports.
The gunman gave the clerk a bag in which to place the money, she told investigators. He left, taking the store’s cordless phone, and fled towards Chance’s Mobile Home Park, reports stated.
The suspect is in his mid 20’s, and was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, gray pants, a white hat, white mask covering only his nose and mouth, and wore black shoes.
Reports listed about $4,554 in cash taken.
Anyone with information on the robbery is asked to contact the Bulloch County Sheriff’s Department at 764-8888.
