A man choked a woman, held her against her will and committed the assault in the presence of juveniles at Park Place Apartments Thursday, said Statesboro Police Sgt. Jake Saxon.

Timothy Charles Glover, 26, Lanier Drive, was charged with aggravated assault, third degree cruelty to children, and false imprisonment.

Around 3:45 p.m. Thursday, officers responded to the scene, and after investigation, arrested Glover, according to Statesboro police incident reports.

The 27-year-old female victim was not transported for medical treatment and reports did not include any information on her injuries.

Glover was taken to the Bulloch County Jail where he awaits court hearings.
