Statesboro Mayor Jan Moore has been appointed to serve on a Member Services Advisory Council for the Georgia Municipal Association. The role of the council is to provide ongoing feedback to the association's staff on services needed to help cities operate more effectively and efficiently. The group will meet three to four times a year and is composed of a mix of elected and appointed city officials.
