Some Kinda Good - Rebekah Lingenfelser
Christmas tradition at The Old Home Place
Hams
Since the 1950s, The Cookin' has been a holiday tradition for the Faulk family. The meat is smoked for 8-10 hours in the pit. It's fall-off-the-bone tender after slow cooking all day.
At the end of a long dirt driveway lined by 29-year-old pine trees in Middle Georgia sits The Old Home Place, where my family has celebrated “The Cookin’” each Christmas for more than 30 years.
