crime-scene-tape

Bulloch County Sheriff's deputies responded Sunday to a reported aggravated assault incident where two victims were injured, according to preliminary reports.
Bulloch County Sheriff's Capt. Todd Hutchens said Monday the investigation is ongoing and further information will be released as the case is reviewed further.
Preliminary reports by Bulloch County Sheriff's Deputy Morgan Elizabeth Jones stated she and other deputies responded to a residence in the 300 block of Bennett-Grooms Road after receiving reports of "a gunshot wound at a gathering." While en route to the call, Bulloch County 911 operators informed deputies another victim "had possibly been stabbed," reports stated.
Both victims treated by Bulloch County EMS, and one was transported to East Georgia Regional Medical Center for further treatment, according to Jones' report.
Three people were listed as offenders in the preliminary report, but no arrests were made at the time.
The case has been handed over to Bulloch County Sheriff's Inv. John Quattlebaum.
Hutchens said additional information is expected to be released Tuesday.
