A man led a Bulloch County sheriff's deputy on a brief vehicle chase, which ended when he drove into a ditch, the sheriff's office said. It happened Wednesday, when Deputy Randall Norman, of the Sheriff's Targeted Enforcement Patrol, or STEP, unit tried to stop a vehicle on U.S. Highway 301 North for a traffic violation, Sheriff Lynn Anderson said in a news release issued Friday. Tyrell Guthrie, 25, of Waynesboro Highway in Sylvania, was arrested after he tried to run from the vehicle but was stunned with a Taser by Norman, Anderson said.
