The Bulloch County school district reminds parents of prekindergarten students that the last day of school is May 11, at each of its 11 sites. All other grades will complete their 180-day year on May 25.
To help pre-K parents, the Statesboro-Bulloch County Parks and Recreation Department will again host a “Pre-K in the Park” camp May 14-25.
Interested parents must register their children at the Honey Bowen Building before May 14.
Pre-K in the Park provides all-day care for children and offers a variety of activities and games, including art, science, music and reading each day.
For more information on Pre-K in the Park, contact Joy Deal at (912) 764-5637 or jdeal@bullochrec.com.
Because of state budget cuts last year, the Bulloch County Pre-K Program was reduced to 160 days. For additional information on the district’s pre-K schedule for 2012-13, contact Dr. Marilyn Dryden at (912) 212-8500 or mdryden@bulloch.k12.ga.us.
