    Adrienne Hilliard, 28, Maple Drive — failure to maintain lane, DUI (refused test).
    Arnold Craig Powell, 19, Byington Drive, Fayetteville, Ga. — theft by shoplifting, underage possession of alcohol.
    Keith Alywne Middleton, 22, Terrell Street, Claxton — probation violation.

    VAN BUREN STREET — Police responded to a home at 2:16 p.m. Sunday in reference to a physical altercation. One offender at the scene had an arrest warrant for a probation violation. He had a swollen red eye, caused by his brother striking him Saturday. He was arrested and taken to jail, along with the other offender.
    MAIN STREET BILLIARDS/STATESBORO HERALD — Officers responded around noon Thursday to a complaint by three people regarding a man acting suspiciously by impersonating an officer the previous night. The case was turned over to investigators.
    PRESIDENT CIRCLE — A man reported the theft of a handgun from his vehicle around 6:15 a.m. Sunday.
    WAL-MART — A man shoplifted around $400 worth of groceries by wheeling them out without paying around 9 p.m. Monday. He was charged with underage possession of alcohol and theft by shoplifting.
    RUCKER LANE — A woman told police around 9:40 p.m. Monday that someone tried to hire her as a nanny after she posted an online ad. The other person sent her a check to use for purchasing items for a child she was supposed to be caring for, but the check turned out to be fraudulent.

    Robert Michael Stanfield, 25, Louis Kennedy Road, Claxton — theft by taking.
    Cassey Alonzo Clark, 26, Tillman Drive, Carrollton, Ga. — unlawful possession of prohibited items by an inmate.
    Tristen Andrew Dyches, 18, Georgia Highway 24 — possession/use of a drug-related object.
    Thomas Preston Kaighin Jr., Chalice Way, Savannah — DUI (refused test).

    GEORGIA HIGHWAYS 67/46 — Deputies spotted a man asleep in his vehicle around 3:15 a.m. Monday. He told them he and his wife had argued and he planned to stay in his car until he went to work later.

    The post reported the following activity during the week of Sept. 15-21.
    Jamar Alexander Hanchell, 25, Northwest First Street, Fort Lauderdale, Fla. — possession of marijuana, financial transaction card theft, speeding, DUI/drugs.

    Troopers issued seven seat belt violation citations, five child restraint citations, six speeding citations and 31 total citations.
    Troopers also investigated 21 crashes with six reported injuries and issued 28 seat belt warnings, 24 speeding warnings and 75 total warnings.

    Officers issued three traffic citations and three traffic warnings and assisted eight motorists Monday.
