Members of the Skunk Brigade, Georgia Society Sons of the American Revolution traveled to Barnesville to attend the 2nd Quarter GASSAR meeting on July 25, at the Garden Patch Restaurant.

Those members from the East Fall Line Region are Steve Burke, Wiregrass Chapter; Lee Herron, Brier Creek Chapter; Dess Smith III, dual member of Patrick Carr Rangers Chapter; Don Bazemore, Brier Creek Chapter; and Alton McCloud and Bill Tankersley, Little River Chapter.

With President Bill Tankersley presiding, more than 100 were in attendance in person and zoom. Those zooming from the East Fall Line Region were Randy Jones, Mill Creek Chapter and Joel Keener, Four Rivers Patriots Chapter.

After the Skunk Brigade participated with the Georgia Society Award Winning Color Guard, the Pledge of Allegiance and the Pledge to the SAR was said, and then President Tankersley called for the Posting of the Colors.

Business was handled by the BOM, and a great meal was had by all.
