A resident reported that one of her neighbors placed two bullets on the hood of her car and made “shooting” motions at her as he walked away.

INCIDENTS

➤ Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office

▲ BEULAH LANE — A man reported that someone entered his pond shed and stole several items, with a total value estimated at $2,050.

▲ NEVILS-DAISY ROAD and UNION CHURCH ROAD — A deputy responding to a report of a traffic accident and possible drunk driver found the driver standing in the ditch. The suspect was arrested on multiple charges, including suspended registration and no insurance, as well as DUI, open container and possession of drug-related objects.

➤ Statesboro Police Department 

▲ LANIER DRIVE — A resident reported that one of her neighbors placed two bullets on the hood of her car and made “shooting” motions at her as he walked away. Police collected the bullets into evidence.

▲ SPRUCE STREET AND PINE STREET — An officer who observed a motorist driving toward him up the middle of the street checked and found that the driver’s license was suspended. The driver was stopped and charged with driving with suspended license and failure to maintain lane.

▲ FAIR ROAD — Another driver was found to have no valid license after an officer stopped him for driving without lights on at 10 p.m.

➤ Georgia State Patrol Post 45

▲ Last week, troopers investigated 30 crashes with 33 reported injuries but no fatalities in Bulloch County. Troopers also arrested five drivers on DUI charges and issued eight citations and nine warnings for seatbelt violations but no citations or warnings for child restraint violations last week, and 21 citations and 32 warnings for speeding.


➤ Georgia Southern University Police 

▲ Officers issued four traffic citations and 11 traffic warnings and assisted one motorist.

▲ CENTENNIAL PLACE BUILDING ONE — Some lost property was reported found.

▲ AGENCY ASSISTS — GSU officers assisted Statesboro Police Department officers Saturday on East Main Street and on Tillman Road and Sunday on Lanier Drive and at the College of Business Administration Drive.

▲ ZACH S. HENDERSON LIBRARY — Someone reported a suspicious person or activity around 6 p.m. Saturday. 

In a separate call, found property was reported there Sunday.

▲ OLD REGISTER ROAD — Someone reported a suspicious person or activities around 3 a.m. Sunday.
