Police Report 8-2-11 - A woman "smacked" another in the face

Arrests

    Arrests Friday through Monday will be published Wednesday.

Incidents
    CITI TRENDS — Two men approached a woman in the parking lot. One man appeared alone and said he needed a place to stay. Then a second man appeared, claiming he could help. Somehow the two fleeced the woman of $1,500.
    EAGLE GATE APARTMENTS — a tenant reported a laptop computer stolen.
    MORRIS STREET — A woman said another female “smacked her in the face” and left.
    WENDY’S – An unruly employee refused to leave when ordered, yelled and used profanity.
    EAST JONES AVENUE — A car radio, two TVs and an Android tablet were stolen.
    DOLLAR  GENERAL (Northside Drive West) —Someone  threw a bottle of Drano at a man and lacerated his ear.

    Charmaine Dsirae Williams, 17, Packinghouse Road — no driver’s license.
    Tanika Stephanie Jane Valentine, 20, Sims Street, Claxton — disorderly conduct.
    William Foster Ward, 23, Highland Pointe Place, Monroe — sale of marijuana, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute.
    Alexander Tabor Martin, 23, Harvey Drive — marijuana possession with intent to distribute.
    Robert Louis Douglas III, 22, Tucker Road, Smithville —sale of marijuana, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute.
    Christopher James Pierce, 21, U.S. 301 North — assailing, opposing or resisting an officer in the penal institute.
    Jeffrey Allen Durrence, 17, Bream Road — affray, disorderly conduct.
    Amy Bass Jackson, 35, Pebblestone Trail — sexual assault by persons with supervisory or disciplinary authority; aggravated child molestation; child molestation; statutory rape; enticing a child for indecent purposes; furnishing harmful materials to minors, sexual exploitation of children, sexual exploitation of children by computer.
    Matthew William Meeks, 22, Tennyson Trail, Macon —sale of marijuana.
    Glen Harmon Keen, 17, Windy Hill Road — probation violation, manufacturing methamphetamine.

    MIDDLEGROUND ROAD — (Statesboro) A man reported a woman who has a protective order against him called him several times.
    BANKS CREEK CHURCH ROAD — (Statesboro) A man reported the theft of an air conditioner.
    SOUTHEAST BULLOCH MIDDLE SCHOOL — (Brooklet) A woman reported $60 stolen.
    RIVER BEND ROAD – (Statesboro) A man reported a miter saw and air compressor stolen.
    CEDARWOOD ACRES MOBILE HOMES — (Register) A man discovered another man pawned a bow that belonged to him.
    IVANHOE ROAD —(Brooklet) A woman said another female brandished a machete at her children while they played in their own yard. The other woman told deputies she was screaming and threatening the neighbor’s pit bulldog as it approached her confined dog, and yelled at the kids to get off her property. She showed deputies the kid’s footprints as well as the dog’s paw prints in her yard.
