➤ Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office

▲ ASH BRANCH CHURCH ROAD — Deputies responded to a domestic dispute and the parties separated for the night.

▲ COX FUTCH ROAD — A caller tipped deputies off to a vehicle hidden without permission on someone else’s property. The vehicle was registered to a known fugitive with felony warrants. Another caller reported the wanted man was at a Cox Futch Road residence. Deputies located the man hiding in the attic, with firearms. A captain talked the man into coming out, and he was arrested.


➤ Statesboro Police Department 

▲ STATESBORO PLACE CIRCLE — A woman said she was in an altercation with someone else and injured her jaw. She was given information on taking warrants.

▲ WAL-MART SUPERCENTER — A person was arrested on shoplifting charges after video showed the person taking about $250 worth of assorted merchandise.

▲ STADIUM PLACE APARTMENTS — A person was arrested after several victims complained the person attacked them physically.

▲ WHISPERING PINES BOULEVARD — A woman said a man grabbed her during an argument.

▲ LANIER DRIVE — A woman called police to have them speak with her juvenile daughter, who was yelling and cursing at her.

▲ NORTHSIDE DRIVE EAST — A man was arrested after a woman told police the man, whom she did not know, drove past and pointed a gun at her.

▲ BUTLER STREET — A man told police he didn’t want to press charges against a known person he said stole his cellphone and Bluetooth speaker, but he wanted the items back. The offender was not located.

▲ TILLMAN STREET — A man was arrested on marijuana, cocaine and paraphernalia charges after a woman told police he threatened her.

▲ BRAMPTON AVENUE — A woman said her boyfriend pushed her.

▲ D&R AUTO CARE — An officer spotted a man in a car at the business after hours and found he had been served with criminal trespass before. He was arrested.

▲ BAYMONT INN & SUITES — A person who disabled a security camera and stole a router was arrested.


➤ Georgia State Patrol Post 45

▲ Last week, troopers investigated 15 crashes with four reported injuries. Six drivers were charged with DUI. 

▲ Troopers also issued 26 citations and four warnings for seatbelt violations, 28 citations and 26 warnings for speeding, and four citations and two warnings for child restraint violations.


➤ Georgia Southern University Police 

▲ Officers issued one traffic citation and four traffic warnings and assisted two motorists.

▲ CENTENNIAL PLACE APARTMENTS — Officers responded to a reported simple battery.

▲ AGENCY ASSISTS — Officers assisted Statesboro police with unspecified calls at Fair Road, South Main Street (four calls) and Lanier Drive.

▲ BLUE/GOLD BUS ROUTE — Someone reported a theft.

▲ G LOT — Someone reported a suspicious person/activities.

▲ LANIER DRIVE — A person was arrested for driving with no license and giving false information.
