Incidents
EAGLE GATE APARTMENTS – A woman reported damage to several apartments.
NEVIL TIRE SERVICE – After someone reported a prowler, officers spotted a man walking near the building. When seen, he fled and jumped a fence, and police did not locate him.
WAL-MART SUPERCENTER – Someone saw two men break into a car and take items. Further investigation revealed the car belonged to a woman who had just been arrested for shoplifting, and the men were relatives trying to get items to raise bond to get her out of jail.
In a separate incident, two women were arrested for shoplifting $110 worth of men’s clothing.
Another two women were arrested after shoplifting SD cards and $76 worth of underwear.
SOUTH EDGEWOOD DRIVE – A woman said someone hit her during an argument over custody of a dog.
TOBACCO & MORE – A man struck a gas lid (to the underground tank) that had been left open, causing over $1134 worth of damage to his vehicle.
CAMBRIDGE-AT-SOUTHERN APARTMENTS – A man told police another man, who did not live there, refused to leave the apartment and tried to use a stun gun on him.
LITTLE LOTTS CREEK APARTMENTS – An anonymous complaint about shots fired sent police to the area to investigate, but no evidenced of gunfire was found and witnesses at the scene said they had not seen anything. The caller stated someone left in a car after firing shots into the air.
UNIVERSITY VILLAGE – A man and woman argued, with things getting physical and each striking the other. The man had been served a criminal trespass warning previously and was arrested.
CHURCH STREET – Police arrested a man and were seeking a juvenile involved in a fight.
HENRY STREET – Police stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation and the occupants fled. A gun, which had been stolen was found in the car. The red 2001 Chevrolet Impala was impounded and a suspect was listed by name in reports.

Incidents
Officers issued three traffic warnings and assisted no motorists.
RUSTY’S TAVERN – GSU officers assisted Statesboro police in arrested a man involved in a fight. The SPD officer used Taser on the suspect after warning him to comply, but he continued to struggle. The Taser did not work and GSU officers assisted in completing the arrest.
PARKERS ENZONE – A GSU officer assisted a Statesboro-Bulloch Crime Suppression Team officer when a man he was trying to arrest fought back. The suspect, wanted for failure to appear in court, struggled and fled, and after being warned three times, was Tasered by the CST officer. He suffered a cut above the eye when he fell and was taken to the hospital before being taken to jail.
