Police Report 5-7-11 - LANIER DRIVE A woman said her credit card was lost at Rude Rudys

STATESBORO POLICE DEPARTMENT
 Arrests
    Traci Lynn Bridges, 31, T.H. Le Road – driving with a suspended license.

 Incidents
    LANIER DRIVE – A woman said her credit card was lost or stolen at Rude Rudy’s and used later at Don Corleone’s Pizza.
    HARVEY’S – (both locations) A woman said someone used her lost or stolen credit card three times at two stores.
    PACKINGHOUSE ROAD – A man said someone has used his information for the past two years in getting tax refunds. In a separate incident, a woman said someone has been using her identity in Evans, Ga.
    DIXIE FOODS – A man forged several checks on a closed account.
    RUCKER LANE – A man said someone used his identity to file taxes.
    H&R BLOCK – A woman reported someone used her identity to receive tax refunds.

BULLOCH COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
 Arrests
    Chris Swan, 48, Pamela Way – obstruction, simple battery.
    Leslie Dianne Bowdon, 33, Old River Road North – probation violation, wanted person.

 Incidents
    ZIP N FOODS – (Ga. 25) A Statesboro Herald newspaper carrier saw the store had been burglarized, noting the front door broken, and contacted deputies. Several items were taken.
    ROCKY FORD ROAD – (Portal) A man reported the theft of a radio, small refrigerator, air conditioner, filing cabinet, TV, and microwave.
    PAMELA WAY – A deputy watched a woman threaten and strike her son in law. When he ordered her to stop she did not and resisted arrest. However, she was indeed arrested and charged with simple battery and obstruction.

 Arrests
    DUI – none.
    Seatbelt citations – one.
    Speeding citations – one.

 Incidents
    Crashes investigated – two.
    Vehicle stops – eight.
    Seatbelt warnings – one.
    Speeding warnings – four.
    Total warnings – 10.
    Motorists assisted – one.
    Miles patrolled – 1,034.

GEORGIA SOUTHERN UNIVERSITY POLICE
 Arrests
    Dylan Nipper George, 19, Eagle - possession of marijuana.
    Samuel Callaway Batts, 19, Southern  - underage possession of alcohol, possession of a false I.D.
    Peter Joseph Reimann, Jr., 24, Kinsey Town Road, Cleveland - laying drag, DUI.
    Officers issued eight parking citations and 14 traffic citation.

 Incidents
    Officers assisted four motorists, issued three traffic warnings, served two notices of license suspension, aided one sick person, and responded to one alarm.
    KENNEDY HALL – Someone reported the theft of a bicycle.
    CENTENNIAL PLACE - Officers responded to a complaint of an unauthorized animal in Centennial Place.
