A man reported losing money through a scam on Craigslist when he tried to buy a camper.

▲ R.V. WILLIFORD MOBILE HOME PARK — Deputies responded to a domestic dispute that was verbal in nature.

While still at the location, a deputy was flagged down by a man complaining about an injury to his puppy that led to a vet visit. He said he saw the pup coming from a neighbor’s yard with scratches on its face. The neighbors told deputies they did not know what happened but said neighborhood dogs were a problem.

▲ ANDERSON PARRISH ROAD — Deputies responded to a reported burglary.

▲ VIRACON — A former employee who had an altercation with another and was seen driving around the parking lot was served with a criminal trespass warning.

▲ BRANNEN POND ROAD — Deputies responded to a reported domestic dispute.

▲ HIGHWAY 80 EAST/BALLPARK ROAD — A woman said a piece of debris fell off a log truck and damaged her vehicle.

▲ HIGHWAY 119 CONNECTOR — A man and woman reported the theft of items, suspected to have been taken by a longtime friend.

▲ CANDY LANE — A man reported losing money through a scam on Craigslist when he tried to buy a camper.


➤ Statesboro Police Department

▲ MORRIS STREET — Two people involved in a verbal, then briefly physical, altercation were given advice on seeking warrants.

▲ BUTLER HOMES — Police told a woman how to seek a warrant for the arrest of a man she said slapped her and pushed her car door against her legs.

▲ PACKINGHOUSE ROAD — A woman said the father of her unborn child pushed her against a wall.

▲ GATE/SOUTH MAIN STREET — Officers responded to a call about a suspected shoplifter.

▲ Officers issued no traffic citations and no traffic warnings but assisted four motorists. 

▲ UNIVERSITY VJLLAS — Someone reported a domestic dispute.

▲ CENTENNIAL PLACE — Someone reported a bicycle stolen.

In a separate call, someone reported property damage.
