Statesboro Police Department
EAST MAIN STREET — A woman said her husband hit her in the face with his fist during an argument.
COLLEGE WALK APARTMENTS — A woman said a man choked her during an argument.
Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office
PINESTRAW COURT — A woman said she has been called to her grandson’s school 20 times for behavior problems, and she is sending him back home to Philadelphia because of that. She said he locks his bedroom door, and asked deputies to tell him he cannot do that.
STARLING ROAD — Someone reported a man in a vehicle watching a home with binoculars. Deputies found the truck abandoned, with a cell phone and knife sheath inside. The vehicle owner said she loaned the truck to her fiance’s cousin and said she would recover the truck. The cousin was not at the scene.
Highway 301 SOUTH — Deputies responded to Chevron Foodmart for a dispute between a man and store clerk. The offender reportedly brandished a gun at the clerk. The offender told deputies he was meeting his stepchild’s father, an argument ensued, and there was another male behind the store, where the child’s father tried to lure him. He said the other man pulled out an assault rifle, so he showed his gun as well. Deputies reported witnesses and those involved gave conflicting stories.
KENDRICKS ROAD — A woman said a man with whom she had a “brief social relationship after he did some roofing work for her” is harassing her, followed her home and blocked her driveway.
DRY BRANCH VILLAGE — A man was arrested for fighting with a woman whom he said demanded money for drugs and tried to take cash from his pocket. He suffered facial scratches, but the woman had visible bruises and said she had a restraining order against the man, who was not supposed to be there.
