Police Report 3-12-14 - Two men were arrested for trying to cash a fictitious check

Adrean Omar Hall, 27, Courtland Street Northeast, Atlanta — third-degree forgery (felony), executing a fictitious check.
Stanley Bernard Collins, 59, Peachtree Street Northeast, Atlanta — third-degree forgery (felony), executing a fictitious check.
Danielle Yashon Dawson, 20, West Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, Swainsboro — probation violation.
Marcia Elizabeth Smith, 61, Mikell Street — battery.
Khalil Amahl Campbell,  21, Browns Mill Ferry Road, Lithonia, Ga. — possession of drug paraphernalia, open container, suspended license (second offense), marijuana possession, tampering with evidence.

  Incidents
SOUTHERN VILLAS — A woman called police around 9 p.m. Monday  because a man threatened to shoot her, and he pushed her. The man told officers he was angry because the woman gave him a sexually transmitted disease. He was arrested.
SEA ISLAND BANK — (Fair Road) Two men were arrested for trying to cash a fictitious check around 2:30 p.m. Thursday.
ASPEN HEIGHTS — Police responded to a reported “strong-arm” rape around 5:44 p.m. Monday. No further details were included in police reports except that an investigation is ongoing.
KMART — A juvenile stole an air gun around 1:45 p.m. Monday.
CAMPUS CROSSINGS — A man told police two unknown men with dreadlocks physically attacked him around 6:30 p.m. Monday.

Victor Jerome Blaney, 45, Lanier Drive — marijuana possession with intent to distribute.
Audrey Lynn Green, 30, South Gordon Street — marijuana possession.
Fontarian Deonta Harlie, 25, Cedar Creek Road, Claxton — marijuana possession.
Taivez Levon Holloway, 30, Knight Drive — marijuana possession, probation violation.
Walter Blake Pullam, 26, Aycock Street, Portal — probation violation.
Michael Donald Reese, 24, Moore Road, Portal — marijuana possession.
Eric Lamont Rich, 38, Lanier Drive — marijuana possession with intent to distribute, felony obstruction, tampering with evidence.

  Incidents
SOUTH WYNN ROAD — (Statesboro) A man reported the theft of a utility trailer around 11:30 a.m. Monday.
OLD PORTAL ROAD — (Portal) Deputies stopped a truck with two men riding in the back on top of a toolbox around 1:30 p.m. Monday. They were charged with marijuana possession.

  Arrests
None reported Tuesday.

  Incidents
Troopers investigated four crashes with seven reported injuries, issued four seat belt citations and two seatbelt warnings, issued two citations and one warning for speeding, stopped seven vehicles and patrolled 203 miles Monday.
 
GEORGIA SOUTHERN UNIVERSITY POLICE
  Arrests
Dewaski Jerran, 21, Georgia Avenue — seat belt violation, no driver’s license, giving false information.
 
  Incidents
Officers issued four warnings and assisted seven motorists Monday.
CENTENNIAL PLACE — Officers responded to a drug complaint around 8 p.m. Monday. A knife with a blade longer than 2 inches was confiscated. No arrests were made.
